Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, its time to pause and reflect. – Mark Twain
Now the statement Work Less Enjoy More could be the total opposite of what you know currently, you could have grown up in a generation that thrives on work, a generation that has to work to make its self feel a whole lot better. If you are then I pity you as the world is a changing place according to the entrepreneur Elon Musk @elonmusk as robots could push us into a universal basic income where we are paid to ‘stay at home’.
This might be a way off but it will come. What can you do now to lighten the load and have a great work/life balance?
Well I have said this before, because of our always on connected lifestyle, through choice I might add, we all struggle for a work life balance. It used to e business owners that were the only sufferers but now it seems to be everyone whether you work for yourself or someone else.
One thing you should to realise about the NLT system is that it doesn’t matter what age you are 21 or 71 it still works, it will give you what you want, you just have to want it enough. This is not a ‘get rich quick’ scheme, but what it will do is help you create a lifestyle that gives you enough, or more depending how much effort you put in, income to sustain you for the rest of your life.
Now all this seems a pretty big statement but trust me I will over the coming weeks and months show you how this can be achieved with a little effort.
So, how do we start?
This can be the most difficult part because as discussed in an earlier article the mindset can be hard to break, if you haven’t read it please do as it’s important.
So let’s assume that you have broken the old mindset and you are ready for change, fantastic. Have you ever heard the term New Rich? I first came across it a few years ago and it describes what is happening in the world to the generation that doesn’t want to work all day every day, unless it’s on their terms.
The currency of the New Rich (NR) is time and mobility. They have designed a lifestyle around being able to travel or move anywhere in the world at anytime and still be connected to their business. This is the new deferred life plan, its lifestyle design, these business owners are ripping up the old rule book and creating their own.
This change has been called Lifestyle Design (LD).
A lot of these people, of all ages, have gone from overworked underpaid office workers to members of the New Rich club.
So what we will learn on the NLT Work Less, Enjoy More journey?
- To simplify all of your systems and processes so they work for you
- Create an exit plan to either sell or pass on your business when the time is right
- Work 4 day per week [or less]. This might not resonate with you at the moment but trust me it will
- Get out of the 24/7 365 mentality that’s not doing you any good at all
- Outsource nearly everything you do so you have choices
- Live the life you choose, not what’s chosen for you
Most people think that having a million pound in the bank is unachievable, why, because they get frightened of the choices and freedom it brings. From an early age we are conditioned to think that we have to go out and work all day for a fair days pay and if we don’t we are somehow cheating the system, but let me ask you this, who created the system? The people who wanted to get rich, that’s who.
So we need to breakout and create a system that works for us, in fact you have to break out and create the system that works for you, because we are all different when it comes to life and what we want out of it. The choice is yours my friend and always has been.
Like I said at the start, don’t think of NLT as a get rich quick scheme, it’s not and you are in the wrong place if that’s what you are looking for. What NLT will help you decide is how you live your life, the type of work you want to do and when and where in the world you would like to do that work, because that’s entirely up to you now.
So, if you are ready and it’s a journey you want to join me on, a journey of discovery, read on and stay with me because the blog will grow into something that you can refer back to when you need to, everything you need to succeed at NLT will be here.
