Useability

We will carry out an expert usability review of websites and web designs. It works like this:
A brief conversation with you about what you’re trying to accomplish and what you think the problems are.
If we both feel that an expert review is what you need, send us something to look at, which could be

  • the URL of your existing site
  • a sketch of your new site
  • preliminary page designs
  • page templates
  • the URL of a prototype

We look at what you send us, and then go through the process of figuring how much an expert review will cost
If you decide to go ahead, then we go through the site, designs, or prototype from the point of view of a user, noting the places where people are likely to be confused.

Finally, we report what we've seen, usually face to face or in a conference call (or series of calls) with the design team and any interested stakeholders. In these reports, we answer questions about the issues we've found, and help you decide which ones are most important to fix and how best to fix them.

We don’t recommend that a lengthy report is provided as more often that not the report is put in a draw and never seen again. If you do want a report we can accommodate but be warned it will be expensive
